This was our second date: Colectivo and a stroll. This Colectivo used to be a flushing station for the Milwaukee River and you can still see the machinery in the coffee stop. Walk over to Veterans Park while you're here and see the lake!
The Oak Leaf Trail is our favorite for walks and traveling from downtown, to the East Side, to our house in Shorewood. Perfect for popping off on Brady Street or North Ave for bars and restaurants, or exploring the lakefront. You can hop on the OLT from multiple points on N Prospect Avenue from Mason St to North Ave.
Harry's is the bride and groom's very favorite spot in Shorewood. We recommend any cocktail, burger, or special at Harry's for any time of day. Perfect for popping off the Oak Leaf Trail for a snack, or checking out Isaac and Hayley's house right around the corner!
Just one block east of the venue, spend some time on the Milwaukee Riverwalk! Take it south to head downtown and to the Third Ward, or head north to see the quieter parts of the East Side. If you would like to see the beautiful wooded parts of Milwaukee on the riverbank, hop on the Riverwalk between Humboldt Ave and North Ave at the end of N Riverboat Rd and head north.
While you're in town, do yourself a favor and view the Milwaukee buildings Isaac worked on. The new portion of the Baird Center was his first project.
While you're in town, do yourself a favor and view the Milwaukee buildings Isaac worked on. Isaac worked on the renovation of Northwestern Mutual's North Tower.
