Question

The ceremony and reception are at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Immediately following our ceremony, guests are invited to walk right to the water front bar for cocktails and appetizers while awaiting the return of the wedding party to start the reception!

How will I get to & from the wedding/reception?

Answer

Parking is available on site for both Friday and Saturday. On Friday for our welcome party, and Saturday for the wedding & reception, we will have a trolley that will pick guests up from nearby hotels, then provide drop off when you’re ready to leave. A detailed outline of timing for shuttle services will be provided closer to our wedding weekend.

What’s the attire?

Answer

Florida will be quite warm and humid in late May. The ceremony, dinner and dancing will all be outside. The sand in the Keys is packed down so it’s comfortable for walking (& dancing!) in any footwear - heels included. Also, it may be breezy. Our suggestions? For Friday’s rehearsal dinner and welcome party: Casual Cocktail attire. Sundresses or similar. Slacks/shorts for the men. Block heels, wedges or flats recommended for the ladies. For Saturday’s ceremony and reception: Cocktail dresses. Suits or sport coats. (Tie or no tie for the gentlemen - your choice.) Block heels, wedges or flats recommended for the ladies. Ladies: We will have Flip Flops available for your dancing feet!! Please know your comfort is more important than these suggestions. What works best for you is fine by us.
