Question

How do we get from the hotel to the wedding venue, or vice versa?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle bus to and from the hotel. The shuttle will leave from the hotel at 4:20pm to take guests to the ceremony. It will also take guests back to the hotel at the end of the night. At the end of the night there will be one shuttle at 10:00pm and another at 11:00pm. Otherwise, if you're feeling like getting some exercise, it's a 15 minute walk. Alternately, if the shuttle does not fit your schedule, then you may also take a cab or an uber. It's only a 4 minute drive, so it's a very quick cab ride.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

In short, no. There is, however, a parking ramp underneath Union South (across the street from the venue) or at Engineering Hall (kitty corner to the venue). You may also park on the streets just past Union South.

So, is the ceremony in the same location as the reception?

Answer

Yes! Everything will be at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery.

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

No, everything will be held inside (where there is air conditioning).

What is the dress code?

Answer

We love you all no matter what you wear! Although, if that answer isn't what you were looking for, probably go with cocktail attire.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

There is a space to note this on your RSVP. Please include all necessary restrictions, and the caterers will do their absolute best to accommodate you.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Have we met? Yes, there will be a bar. Beer and wine will be provided, and cocktails may be purchased if you so desire.

Will there be food?

Answer

As if Seton could make it more than 3 hours without food... Yes, we will have light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, and then a full meal will be served at 7:00 pm.

What do I do if I already RSVP'd, but now my answer has changed?

Answer

We've been there too. Just contact Seton (608-669-2862) or Blake (612-669-5533) as soon as possible to let them know about the change.

Question

What if I don't want to stay at the Hampton Inn or the Graduate?

Answer

That's 100% fine. Fortunately Madison has many hotels. Some others that we recommend would be The Edgewater, AC Hotel by Marriott, or Double Tree by Hilton. We will be having a shuttle from the Hampton Inn, however, if that influences your decision.
