There are 3 Milan Airports: Malpensa Linate Bergamo Malpensa (MXP) will typically be the main airport for international flights from the US to Italy. Linate and Bergamo are great airports for European travel plans pre/post wedding.
There are many ways to be transported from MXP airport to Bellagio. Private Driving Service: There are many driving services that can be booked in advance to take you from the airport straight to Bellagio (Est:1hr 30 min). Example: Transfeero Rent a Car: There are rental cars on many websites including "Hertz". However, be mindful of the limited parking in Lake Como and the extra documents required. Taxi/Uber: A taxi is able to be called to transport from MXP to Bellagio. However, be mindful of taxi scams that may increase prices along the way. Uber is also able to transport from MXP to Bellagio, there may be limited Ubers available. (Est: 1hr 30min) Train then Ferry: We took the Malpensa Aeroporto train ride located in MXP airport to Milano Centrale station and took a connecting train to Varenna Esino station. (Total train time Est: 2 hr). Once we arrived at the Varenna Esino station there is a ferry station down the street that took us straight to Bellagio. Tips: Download apps 'Trainline' and 'Rome2Rio' to book train and ferry tickets ahead. Train times and prices can also be found on the 'Trenitalia" website. Ferry information can also be found on 'Navigazionelaghi.it'.

Bus: Buses run from Como along the west side of the lake to the top and there are also buses between Como and Bellagio/Bellagio and Lecco. Cars/Taxis: Taxis can transport you around Como.
