Seth & Shannon first met in 2016 while both were working as servers/bartenders at Brickhouse Tavern in Moorhead, MN. After getting to know each other for a few months as coworkers, Seth visited the bar with his brother & sister-in-law while Shannon was working on a very slow Thanksgiving Day. They watched Seth & Shannon interact, and suggested Seth ask her on a date - which Seth says he had already decided to do. They first went on a date (virtual golf, of course) in December of 2016, eventually leading to their love today. In July of 2023, Seth & Shannon traveled to the Duluth, MN area for the Lage family's summer trip to the North Shore. After Seth uncharacteristically initiated going the long way for a hike, he nervously scoped out a spot to pop the question. Since their first date, they have enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, moving and buying a home together, and creating lots of new memories!
