Whiteside Mountain Hike
Located between Cashiers and Highlands, this is a fun hike with breathtaking views! It is a 2.5 mile loop with well marked trail access. Stay on U.S. 64W through Cashiers, and go another five miles. Turn left on SR 1600 at Whiteside Mountain sign. Turn left into Whiteside Mountain entrance. Parking is $2 per car, pay on the honor system. Or if you just use Google maps you will find it that way too!
Panthertown Valley Trailhead - Public Access
Seth and I regularly hike here and typically get lost, but we still have the best time. There are miles and miles of trails to explore and it is never crowded. Pick up a map at Highland Hiker in town!
