The Wedding Website of Seth McDonald and Jung Amaral
Question

Where do we stay?

Answer

We would love it if you camped on the Saltwater Farm property Saturday and/or Sunday night. We're asking each guest to purchase a $40 camping pass whether you're staying one or two nights. To reserve a camping spot, Venmo Jung (@JungHee-Amaral) or Seth (@Seth-McDonald) $40. If you have a +1 and are camping, please send $$ for you and your guest! If camping is not your thing, there are hotels in Friday Harbor just a mile away + AirBnBs speckled throughout the island.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

- Tent & Bedding - Tennis shoes - Refillable water bottle - Semi-formal wedding attire (be prepared to walk on grass and gravel) - A poem or written blessing for the couple... there will be opportunity to write one on site as well

Question

How many meals will be provided?

Answer

For guests staying both Saturday and Sunday: -We will be providing dinner Saturday night. -Sunday morning there will be a coffee, tea, & light breakfast offering -Sunday afternoon around 4PM there will be appetizers. -Of course, Sunday dinner will be provided. -There will be another light breakfast offering on Monday morning before everyone has to be out on Monday at 11AM Note: It might be worth packing a few snacks and/or heading into Friday Harbor early Sunday for a bite to eat as lunch will not be provided on Sunday pre-ceremony and the breakfast offering that morning will be light.

Question

Can I ask the DJ to play my song?

Answer

While we all know Jung is historically the worst about this, we ask you please respect all of our highly talented musicians and DJ the night of the reception and let them guide the evening; it's why we chose them. But be sure to bring your dancing shoes because we have a lot of time to make up for!

Question

Will there be get-ready space made available for campers?

Answer

There will of course be running water & facilities for all to use, we are also hoping to create a get ready area near the campsite for all to show up feeling as fresh and radiant as ever! Feel free to reach out to the bride or groom for any specific concerns about accommodations!

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We are sincerely hoping that all of our guests will be fully vaccinated by the time of our wedding. As a community we are hoping to build a safe, low-risk experience in which we can respect choices and minimize harm to all participants. For the sake of our immunocompromised guests, both at our event and in the community at large - that have been found to have poor coverage regardless of vaccination status - we feel strongly that all guests have a negative covid test 48-72 hours prior to the event. Covid testing is readily available in the area, reach out to your primary care provider or google "King County Covid test" for a list of free testing sites. Please send a copy of negative results to Sarah Larson, PA-C at elizabethsarahlarson@gmail.com prior to your arrival. For persistent positive tests or any other mitigating factors, just reach out! We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us this summer!
