After a fun summer of night swims, outdoor shows, local camping trips, and hanging with friends we parted ways for three weeks while Jung was on a trip to Japan. Upon returning, Seth knew he didn't want to be without Jung, and told her so. That brought us through another year of big laughs, exploring, testing boundaries, intentional communication, and taking things one day at a time. This was the mindset that brought us through two more meaningful years of long distance, following our dreams individually and supporting one another from afar, and landing us back in the same city, living by the market with a red poodle baby, where Jung continues to explore the nursing world and Seth rides the waves of the music industry. One cold windy February day, after Jung's car battery had died three times driving to and returning from Bellingham for her lactation counselor certification exam, Seth knelt down in the sand at the Centennial Sculpture Park and proposed with his grandmother's ring. We took the last possible trip to Mexico City pre-covid to celebrate the engagement, and have been loving this long engagement to continue to grow together through life's ups and downs. This Summer, we say - "I do" - in our 6th full year as a couple. Our shared love of community, the arts, laughter, the woods, food, our pup George, and so much more, has us looking to the future with so much wonder and and joy as we continue to dream and build together. Join us this September on San Juan Island and help us ring in this beautiful new chapter in our lives!
