Beech Mountain Ski Resort
If you are staying a while, we may go up to beech mountain to do a little ski day if the weather permits. Let us know if you would like to join and we can come up with a time to go if possible. If not go check it out sometime.
Maria's Mexican Restaurant
If you have the chance, stop by Maria’s on the way back home or on the way up in Charlotte, NC for some good Mexican food!
Elk River Falls
There are plenty of waterfalls in the area to go to! Elk river is a bit out the way for most but is very easily accessible for anyone who would like to go.
Boone
Boone, NC is a really nice town to go walk around or do some shopping, etc. really good food options and is not too far away!
Whitewater Center Parkway
If you don’t feel like hanging around and have some time off. Stop by white water center for the day in Charlotte to do some outdoor activities. They may still have the ice skating rink open during that time.
