We're getting married!

Caitlin and Seth met while Caitlin was working at OUC with a couple of Seth's friends. Seth would come in to visit his friends, which led to bringing Caitlin coffee. At the urging of Caitlin's co-workers, they took pictures for a "cutest couple contest." While they didn't win the contest, they won each other, and this was the beginning of their relationship!

Seth planned a trip to Charleston, SC, to celebrate Caitlin finishing the Bar Exam. As they arrived in Charleston, a hurricane was making its way up the coast, and the forecast looked dreary. Caitlin’s birthday was Sunday, August 4th, and Seth had a "surprise dinner" planned that was supposed to be outside and worried the weather would ruin their plans. Caitlin, oblivious, suggested that surely they could just move the dinner to an indoor option if needed. Fortunately, Sunday turned out nice, so they decided to do some sightseeing before getting ready for dinner. While Caitlin was finishing getting ready, Seth mentioned he would head to the lobby to see if they could check out early due to the incoming hurricane. Caitlin, noticing a card on the bed, initially thought it was a birthday card and considered waiting for Seth to return before opening it. However, curiosity got the better of her, and she opened it. The card revealed that a classic car would be waiting for her outside the hotel (and reassured her it was safe, haha). Caitlin met the driver outside and enjoyed a ride to their next destination. During the drive, she received a second letter explaining that Seth was waiting for her. The car arrived at White Point Garden, where Caitlin walked along a path to a gazebo, where Seth was waiting for her. There, he asked her to marry him. It was perfect in every way!

Their wedding day marks nine incredible years together and Seth and Caitlin are thrilled for this special day. Here’s to forever!
