It was the best day of our lives! Jenna and Abby, our dogs were witness to Dan Somerby, the wedding officiant, marrying us. Our vows speak to how we felt that day and the promise we would like our friends and family to hold us to.

First I would like to thank The Lord. He has given me many things to be thankful for. I have a good man to live life with. So thank you, Jesus. When we first started dating I thought, "man this guy is perfect and he doesn’t even know it." I also thought it was the honeymoon phase of our relationship and that things would change eventually. Then I met your sisters, your mom and your dad. I met Ben and Steve first over FaceTime and then all of your friends from Owego and your childhood, your friends from SUNY maritime and your friends from Houston. And I realized a pattern. You are loved by them all! But for a good reason. Because you’re a good person. I have learned that you’re not perfect! Marriage, relationships aren’t easy. I promise to put you first, love you, and to be with you while we live our lives. I promise to support you even if that means getting a cat. I’ll be there for the good and the bad. For richer or poor. In sickness and in health I’ll be there beside you for the rest of our lives. I will listen. I will be what you need. I will learn with you. I will cry with you and laugh with you. I will support you in what you decide. I will speak honestly with you when I’m hurt or have concerns. We are partners, not business, life long partners.
