Flying is the quickest option. Bangor International Airport (BGR) – about a 1-hour drive to Bar Harbor Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport (BHB) – about 20 minutes away (limited flights) Rental cars are recommended, as rideshares can be limited in the area.

Train travel is an option with a short drive at the end. Take Amtrak Downeaster to Bangor (From Bangor, rent a car or arrange a ride to Bar Harbor (about 1 hour))
