We first came to know of each other on March 3rd, 2022 and neither of us thought much of it. I had scheduled to go to dinner with my best friend and her sister and some mutual friends arrived along with Sergio. After talking about business, mutual connections and school, we exchanged contacts and went our separate ways. However, a couple of months later, on October 1st 2022 to be exact, we reconnected when he invited me to walk our dogs at a nearby park. After a long day of walking, talking, sweating, and getting to know each other, we just clicked. That’s pretty much when we thought, "Okay. This is definitely going to be something." As cliché as it sounds: When you know, you know. Six months later we were engaged and a year later we would be saying "I do".

For our six month anniversary, we traveled to Alicante, Spain. When he invited me to lay outside with him to overlook "La Silueta de La Cara del Moro" , he started explaining how the famous legend of El Moro came about. Ali, "El moro", could not marry the love of her life and threw himself over the bridge. I looked over and saw the gorgeous ring. I started crying, asked him a million times "Are you serious?", shouted "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Puerto Rico!
