Located approximately ninety miles north of Phoenix, downtown Prescott is a historically rich destination set within the scenic woodlands of the Prescott National Forest. Known as “Everybody’s Hometown."
The wedding celebration will be at one of the area’s most accessible natural attractions. Upper Goldwater Lake is a short drive from downtown. Visitors can reach the lake by traveling south on Mount Vernon Avenue, (Senator Highway) for about 4 miles, then turning right onto Goldwater Lake Road and continuing another 2 miles. The route is clearly marked and fully paved, making it suitable for most vehicles, though be careful, it narrows as it approaches the lake!
