I, Serene, was working as a manager at a subpar casual fast food restaurant as a manager when one day, Caleb walked through the front doors and asked if he could have a paper application. He was told to apply online and he shrugged his shoulders, then continued to order 8 patties on a burger. I was working in the kitchen and saw him order the burger through the window in disbelief, literally thinking that there's no way he would finish or eat it all. He looked back at me and everyone else in the kitchen with the biggest laugh and smile I've ever seen radiate off someone... It made me smile and laugh until he got his food and devoured it all in one go. Literally made my jaw drop. But a few days went by and before I knew it, he was working with me. It was non stop talking between us during every shift. Not too long after Halloween that same year, Caleb quit working at the restaurant. During the next year while I was still employed, Caleb would come in to eat with his friends and talk to me at every chance we had. He eventually ended up asking for my number and he added me on Snapchat and we started talking non stop again. Then in September in 2025, he asked me out to go bowling and hang out with him and his friends. I didn't get home till 5:30 in the morning the next day after having one crazy, long night. A couple days after that I ended up being his date to his friends wedding. He even asked me if I wanted to go to church with him. I was a little skeptical to go I’ll be honest, I thought I would spontaneously combust upon entrance since I hadn’t been to church in almost 15 years. He laughed at me and proved me totally wrong… Ever since we have spent almost everyday together, consistently going to church(s), and loving each other unconditionally. I never would have thought that I would be marrying Caleb, let alone marrying my old coworker I met at a Culver’s of all places. I love you Caleb <3

I, Caleb needed a part time job for the coming school year. A friend of mine had been working at subpar casual fast food restaurant and told me to come apply. So I decided to go in and ask for a job, upon walking in and talking to the worker up front, I was told I had to apply online. So I decided to make my name remembered for the application and ordered an 8 pattied burger. Little did I know who would be preparing it for me. After a few days I got the job! First couple shifts were what you would expect from working at a fast food place, slow, boring, and demoralizing. Until i got my first closing shift. I got to work in the front of the store alongside Serene, I had so much fun talking with her I almost forgot I should've been working. I started handing off my orders to others just to stand and talk to Serene while she packed customers food. Some more weeks went by and I looked forward to all the shifts I got with her. After Halloween i ended up quitting and only seeing evryone at the store on occasion. Stopping in here and there I always looked forward to seeing Serene. Her warm smile and happiness always made my day and I couldn’t help but think about it. Some time went by and I got bold enough to ask for her number. After some chit chat back and forth we eventually were talking non-stop! I had invited her bowling with some friends one night and had an awesome time that I didnt end up getting home until 5 that next morning! I’d never had such a fun time I even ended up in a high speed car chase! Don’t worry it wasn’t with the cops! :D We continued to hang out more and more and eventually I decided to ask her out. The time we spent dating was amazing and I knew she had to be my wife. I love you serene!
