Airports
LaGuardia (LGA) is the most convenient and closest airport to the venue, generally a 15-20min ride via Uber/Lyft/Taxi. Kennedy (JFK) has more long-distance direct flights, but can be 45-60min++ with traffic. Newark Airport (EWR) is technically in New Jersey, and is very inconvenient for travel to Queens/LIC area - it would be our last choice option.

Taxis, Uber, and Lyft
Uber and Lyft are extremely quick and easy in the NYC area including LIC. It often takes 5min or less to get a car, regardless of the time of day. Yellow taxis (official medallian cabs) can only be flagged down/hailed on the street - they cannot be pre-booked. They are common at airport taxi stands and within Manhattan, but less common in the outer boroughs including LIC/Queens. Black cabs / car service are pre-booked cars that can be arranged in advance by your hotel or by calling a car service.

This hotel is relatively close to the venue (~10min taxi/Uber) and more affordable than staying in Manhattan. We have rooms held Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun nights for anyone that wants a couple days to explore NYC over the holiday weekend, but you can adjust the dates as you prefer for 1-4 nights.
