Q&A

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We’d love to receive your RSVP as soon as possible! Please respond through our wedding website before the deadline. We want to offer an open bar experience, so we kindly ask guests who plan to enjoy the bar to send a one-time payment of $25 via Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp. This contribution helps cover your cost throughout the entire evening.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by February 21, 2027. Please note that your RSVP will be confirmed once we receive your one-time payment of $25.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception being held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place in the ballroom at The Gala 417.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at [START TIME]. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled. Once the ceremony begins, no one will be allowed into the venue.

Question

Will there be any accommodations?

Answer

While we don't have a room block reserved, there are wonderful hotel options throughout the Virginia Beach and Norfolk area. We're happy to recommend specific properties for the weekend. Just let us know! Please plan your own transportation to and from the venue, as we won't be providing shuttle service to or from any hotels.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we adore the children in our lives, we've decided to keep this celebration adults-only, with the exception of those participating in the wedding itself. Children will need to depart after the ceremony, so please plan accordingly for their care immediately following the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring alcohol?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do NOT bring outside alcohol to the venue. Our venue agreement prohibits outside alcohol and we'd appreciate your help in keeping us compliant with this requirement to avoid any fines.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

The venue offers two convenient parking lots, so you'll have plenty of options when you arrive.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so we can all be fully present together. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the special moments, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to take photos after the ceremony concludes.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate whether you're invited to bring a guest. We appreciate your understanding as we work to create an intimate celebration with our closest loved ones.
