We are encouraging all our international guests to book a flight to Acapulco. Most likely you'll have to stop in Mexico City but it's the safest way to travel to our destination wedding.

Getting from the Airport to Las Brisas

Uber does not yet operate in Acapulco. However, there are licensed, safe taxi booths at the airport that can shuttle you to the hotel. DO NOT HAIL A TAXI OFF THE STREET. Safe taxis can be booked either at the airport, or online in advance at: https://www.suntransfers.com/acapulco-airport After you arrive at the resort (Las Brisas), the hotel can arrange safe transportation to the liquor store (a.k.a. Walmart), shops, etc., outside the resort.

Other hotels

Our hotel (Las Brisas) doesn't have a beach. It has a beautiful view to the open sea, and you can go swimming in the ocean, but there isn't a sandy beach. If you are planning to stay for a longer period in Acapulco, either before or after the wedding, and you want to spend time on the beach, you may wish to consider staying at another close-by hotel. (Definitely stay at Las Brisas on Saturday night, the night of our wedding.) Some of our favorite hotels with beach access are: Mayan Palace Vidanta Acapulco, Hotel Quinta Real, Hotel Acapulco Princess.
