Adventure Aquarium
Visit the aquarium, duh! While we're keeping the details of our wedding a surprise, we encourage guests to visit Adventure Aquarium over the weekend after the festivities. Enjoy their annual fall event, the Fintastic Pumpkin Glow, which features gourd-geous pumpkin displays throughout the exhibits.
Historic Philadelphia
It's the Semiquincentennial! America was founded 250 years ago and its birthplace is right here in Philadelphia! Old City is right around the corner with tons of historic sites including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Betsy Ross House.
Philadelphia Zoo (& Cheesesteaks!)
Speaking of American history, the Philadelphia Zoo is America's first Zoo! We're members at the Philly Zoo and love spending an afternoon or morning walking the grounds. If you visit, be sure to look up! The Philly Zoo is home to a special Zoo360 exploration trail experience where the animals move around you. Also, you asked for it so here it is! Our recommended cheesesteak joint is Dalessandro's Steaks. Lucky for you, it’s only a short drive from the zoo!
Phila. Museum of Art
Best known for the Rocky Steps, the Philadelphia Museum of Art houses an incredible collection of art and is the site of the famous steps from the movie Rocky. The PMA is also conveniently located near several other incredible museums, including the Franklin Institute!
