We're tying the knot!

Matthew and Selena met the old-fashioned way in early 2017 - through a friend! They weren’t set up, but kept in touch when they realized how much they had in common. Following several weeks of bonding over all things music and comics, Selena asked Matthew to be her date to her sorority formal. From then on they were official! Much of their early relationship was long distance while Selena was in grad school and Matthew was settling back into Philadelphia. It wasn’t until 2020 that they started living together part-time then settled into their first apartment in Fishtown in 2021. Matthew proposed to Selena on their seventh anniversary in 2024 on a private boat ride along the Delaware River. He waited until the Ben Franklin Bridge (Selena’s favorite Philly monument) was in full view behind them. They cannot wait to celebrate the next milestone in their relationship beside their friends and family.
