Things To Do

Santa Barbara is a beautiful beach town that has a lot to do! From wine tasting, to seafood galore - here are a few things we recommend.

The Funk Zone

137 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

"Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone has become a favorite in recent years. Over the past few decades, this district, which spans the area between the ocean and Highway 101 and is adjacent to the Amtrak station, has enjoyed an upswell of boutique tasting rooms, cafes, galleries, and shops that cater to Santa Barbara’s contemporary side."

State Street Promenade

State Street, Santa Barbara, CA

"Santa Barbara is feeling extra European these days thanks to the introduction of the State Street Promenade. The heart of Downtown Santa Barbara’s entertainment and retail district has transformed into an expansive 10-block pedestrian walkway between Sola and Gutierrez Streets. You can now explore, browse, shop, sip, and dine while enjoying the architectural beauty, sights, and sounds of State Street—without car traffic. The conditions couldn’t be more ideal for taking a stroll!"

Stearns Wharf

217 Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
, (805) 698-5600

"Enjoy the seaside sights and sounds of Stearns Wharf, one of Santa Barbara’s most iconic landmarks. Named for builder John P. Stearns and located at the end of State Street, it is California’s oldest working wharf and the perfect spot to soak up the sun, salty breezes and stunning views of the impossibly blue Pacific. The Wharf was completed in 1872 and served the passengers and freight shipping needs of California’s south coast for more than 25 years. Today it’s one of Santa Barbara’s most visited attractions and a mainstay of the Waterfront district.

Santa Barbara Hiking Trails

"Choose from several trails that wind along flowing creeks shaded by California bay, sycamore and oak tree forests before you eventually peak out above the canopy where chaparral-choked mountainsides sweep across the entire range. Catch sight of Santa Barbara’s red tile roofs, white sand beaches, and the Pacific beyond it with breathtaking, panoramic views." Here are some trails we recommend: - Inspiration Point - Nojoqui Falls - Porter Trail
