FAQs

Question

What to do with my R.S.V.P.?

Answer

If you prefer to mail your R.S.V.P., please feel free! If not, you can easily do so online by scanning the QR code on the back of your invitation. We simply ask that all R.S.V.P. responses be made by August 31st, 2026. This will allow us and our vendors to plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and a seat. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. so please plan to arrive by 2:45 p.m at the latest.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests that are formally invited will be accommodated. Each invitation is specifically addressed to the number of guests invited. We appreciate your understanding in making sure our day remains special!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your littles, our special day will be adult-only outside of our immediate family listed on the invitations. We hope that this advance notice means that you are still able to join us on the big day!

Question

What if I didn't R.S.V.P. in time?

Answer

If we did not receive your R.S.V.P. by the date provided (August 31st, 2026), you will automatically be marked as "Not Attending". We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time that they have given us.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! We are requesting cocktail dress code for the evening. We encourage everyone to dress up while keeping in mind it will be October weather! Our colors for the wedding are burnt orange, emerald green, and gold. Please refrain from wearing any white or jeans.

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony for our wedding will be held outdoors by the water under the trees, and the reception will be held in the building directly behind the ceremony.

Question

Can I post pictures from the day?

Answer

Absolutely for reception! For our ceremony, we ask that guests refrain from taking photos so that everyone can be present in the moment. Don’t worry—our photographer will capture everything!

Question

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Yes! We love a good beverage as much as the next couple, so there will be an open bar of wine and beer for our guests. The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! Please arrange for alternative transportation from the venue if you plan on partaking. NO LIQUOR ALLOWED IN THE VENUE

Question

What is the menu for the reception?

Answer

The soon-to-be newly weds love a good southern-style meal. We will make sure you leave with your belly full! Our menu items are the bride and groom's favorite foods: barbeque pulled pork, baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, potatoes, and a roll. Drink options will be tea, lemonade, or water. The bar will consist of beer and wine.
