We met for the first time — you were my cousin’s roommate. At the time, it felt like just a moment… one of those passing introductions life doesn’t warn you about. But somehow, even then, our story had already started — we just didn’t know it yet.

We found our way to each other. What started as conversations quickly turned into something deeper — something real. It wasn’t confusion or hesitation… it was two people feeling something meaningful, knowing it mattered.

Before we ever made things official, we were already building a life together in the smallest, sweetest ways. I (Selena) had been set on getting a dog, and in June, I (Selena) connected with someone who would unknowingly become part of our story. On August 9, 2020, we brought home Ivy 🐾 Our first baby. The first piece of a life we were starting to build together. She wasn’t just a puppy — she was the beginning of our little family.

We made it official 💖 November 13, 2020 wasn’t the start of something new—it was the moment we finally said out loud what we had already known in our hearts. We chose each other with intention, love, and certainty, ready to build something real together. From that day forward, it was always you and me, in the most honest way.

Then came another piece of our story we didn’t even know we were waiting for. Life had one more surprise waiting for us. When we heard about a new litter, we didn’t hesitate. That’s how Duke came into our lives 🐾 And just like that, our family grew again. With Ivy and Duke, our house became a home — full of love, chaos, laughter, and something that finally felt complete.

By then, it wasn’t a question — just the next step in a love that had already built a life together. After everything that brought us here, this felt easy — like exactly where we were always meant to be.
