Cristen is Kaila's big sister and one of her biggest role models! The two have a very close relationship and have been best friends their whole lives. A few years ago, Cristen moved out to Vegas where Kaila and Jacob lived, and they got to grow even closer! The two share a love of traveling, pickle ball, and (most importantly) Taylor Swift. Kaila knows this is her and her sister's best era yet :)

Brianne is Kaila's little sister! Brianne has been Kaila's partner in crime since they were kids. They have the best memories growing up using their wild imaginations, making up choreographed dances, and spying on their big sister. You can always find them quoting their favorite Disney channel original movies together. They also both get to work with animals for a living! Kaila considers Brianne one of her best friends in the whole world.
Jen Schwab-Gerez

Jen is one of Kaila's best friends! The two met back in 2016 when they were working as animal trainers in Chicago. Jen told Kaila that summer to call her when she graduated college and, well, she did! Kaila moved out to California after graduating and got to work with Jen for 2 years. Jen then moved to Las Vegas and told her the same thing....so of course Kaila followed her out to Vegas! The two then got to be roommates and best friends for nearly 5 years in Vegas sharing their love of the Midwest, hiking, baseball, country music, and Abe Lincoln. Kaila loves getting to follow Jen around the country and hopes Jen will return the favor soon ;)

Emily is Kaila's soon to be sister-in-law! She is Jacob's younger sister. The two share the biggest love of sweets and getting to be goofy together! Kaila consider's Emily one of the most talented people she knows. Kaila absolutely loves Jacob's whole family and is so excited to gain another sister!

Lea is Kaila's soon to be sister-in-law! She is married to Jacob's younger brother, Brendan. Both Jacob and Kaila have loved getting to hang out with Brendan and Lea as a couple! They love their epic pickle ball matches and shared love of the outdoors. Kaila is so excited to be gaining another sister in Lea!

Kaila considers Brennan to be like a sister to her! Brennan originally became best friends with Kaila's sister, Cristen. A few years ago, both Cristen and Brennan moved out to Las Vegas, and Kaila got to know and love Brennan for herself! The two share a love of Costco, hosting parties, wine nights, and Brennan's dogs! They have also gotten to share the wedding planning process together and have had so much fun!
Monica Waller

Monica is one of Kaila's best friends and her roommate from college! Monica is actually the very first person Kaila met at college in Florida, and the two have been inseparable ever since! They love flying out to see each other for fun adventures, hiking trips, and Jonas Brothers concerts! Monica was one of the first to know Jacob and Kaila would end up together when she flew out to Vegas one time and saw their chemistry before they were even dating! Kaila couldn't imagine her day without Monica by her side!
Brendan LeBaron

2 BROTHERS! Brendan is Jacob’s younger brother and partner in crime. Growing up they were stark opposites. Yin and Yang, oil and water, Zack and Cody, Drake and Josh! They had very little shared interest. But over the years Jacob and Brendan have grown on opposite sides to find common ground, now being more similar than anyone would have guessed. Once being the antithesis of each other, they are now best friends. Jacob couldn’t think of anybody better to have cheering him on as his best man with the famous words, “HUG ME BROTHA!”

The older brother. A tale old as time. Little brother wants to hangout with the cooler older brother. Young Jacob would loiter at Blake’s door titled, “keep out” waiting to see if he would be let in. After pleading to hangout, Blake would finally open the door catching Jacob off guard by mooning him. Nowadays Jacob and Blake talk about the philosophical questions while sharing a glass of whiskey.

Childhood friends from a young age and an honorary member of “The Homless Boys,” Jacob and Nathan used to snicker under a desk at reading time and would often be reprimanded for reading dialogue in funny accents in class. Nowadays, Jacob and Nathan occasionally screen write together over a cold beer. Nathan on more than one occasion has spilled his latest writing ideas as well most of his drinks on himself and Jacob. He has also stolen a margarita or two from Jacob and puked on his mom’s couch. He’s the absolute worst. What a legend.
Nathanael Purdy

Yes, there’s a Nathan and a Nathanael… Jacob and Nathanael grew up together going on camping trips, skate boarding in his empty pool, and legitimately trying to kill each other on the trampoline. As adults, Jacob once called Nathanael to go on an impromptu camping trip where they proceeded to get lost in the woods for hours. “The Homeless Boys” wouldn’t be complete without Nathanael’s loyalty, basic keyboard skills, and tousled hairdo!
Jeremiah Francisco

Jeremiah, the Donatello of their teenage mutant ninja turtles. Jacob, Jeremiah, and the other members of “The Homeless Boys” would stay up for hours playing video games, nerding out over music, and having deep convos at Jeremiah’s house. Jacob distinctly remembers being around 12 years old watching Big Trouble in Little China in Jeremiah’s game room for the first time and being slightly traumatized from that day forward. Jeremiah likes his drinks girly, and he’s not afraid to show it!
Cris Cockrell

The one and only Chachi! Jacob and Cris met in Jacob’s freshman year of high school. Cris, being the cool older senior, showed Jacob the ropes in the ways of sculpting abs and serenading the girls. But Jacob and Cris ultimately bonded on their Guatemala mission trip where they grew a shared love of Jesus and fresh mangoes. Cris is one of Jacob’s biggest confidants and spiritual brothers and can’t wait to have him getting down on the dance floor!
