The world's largest honky tonk! This is our best recommendation for the full Texas experience. Great place for live music and dancing- they even have live bull riding on the weekends! Located about 1 hour from our venue.
White Rhino Coffee
The cutest coffee shop in historic downtown Waxahachie! This place is less than 10 minutes away from all the Waxahachie hotels. We visited this coffee shop when we saw our venue and fell in love with its charm, good drinks, and even better breakfast food! This would be a great stop for the day of or morning after our wedding!
Fort Worth Stockyards
A true Texas staple! The Stockyards District is rich in history and has dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars (check out Second Rodeo Brewing Company)! It has the world's only twice-daily cattle drive and has rodeos every Friday and Saturday night! Located about 1 hour from our venue.
Fort Worth Zoo
One of our favorite zoos we've been to! Located about 1 hour from our venue.
Deep Ellum
Great area for local bars and restaurants! Deep Ellum is a Texas hub for live music, theater, and art. We recommend getting BBQ at Pecan Lodge! Located about 30 minutes from our venue.
