Cleveland Museum of Art
Welcome to every other Sunday in Bailey's childhood. It’s Meizi’s favorite place, totally free, and full of very rare art pieces. |P.S.| Take a few minutes to sit out front by the pond- it's stunning.
Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop
Enjoy some homemade popcorn or ice cream by the waterfalls. Once you’re done, take a gander through the Chagrin shops! |P.S.| Stop in at the Fireside Book Shop- there are so many hidden treasurers.
Little Italy | Presti's Bakery
Little Italy is a family favorite- its quintessentially just what you think. We prefer Presti’s, but really you can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants in the area. |P.S.| At Presti’s, try the meat Stromboli. Remember to ask for extra sauce!
Melt Bar and Grilled
We think it’s the best grilled cheese in the world- and even Food Network agrees! Remember to come hungry- they are veryyy big sandwiches. |P.S.| Caleb stands behind the Chicken and Waffles Grilled Cheese and Bailey loves the Parma Italy sandwich.
Mitchell's Ice Cream
Voted by Bailey and Caleb (and all of Cleveland) as the best ice cream in the city. All of it is homemade and locally sourced! |P.S.| Bailey would recommend the Fresh Mint Chocolate Chunk while her mom, Crystal, prefers the Key Lime Pie flavor!
Gordons Square | Happy Dog
One of the best-known bars in Cleveland! It’s a hop and skip away from Bailey's older brother, Spencer’s, new house in Gordon Square. This is an up and coming, hipster neighborhood in the CLE. |P.S.| Happy Dog is known for hot dogs and tater tots that you can load up with as many toppings and sauces as you like (i.e. Bailey’s dream).
The Flats | Punch Bowl Social
Food, drinks, music, neon lights- this is the coolest area to visit on an open Friday night in the CLE. |P.S.| Try the Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar, Punch Bowl Social, or Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville!
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
If you’re up for a zoo, this is the zoo to visit. |P.S.| Check out the Sea Lions (Bailey’s Fav).
Jekyll's Kitchen
One of our favorite restaurants. It has a beautiful outside patio that overlooks waterfalls. |P.S.| Try the sushi and the truffle fries- yum!
The Arcade Cleveland
One of Cleveland's most iconic landmarks, the Arcade hosts a variety or shops and restaurants! We personally like it just because it is so darn beautiful!
Public Square
Cleveland's version of Rosa Parks Circle. |P.S.| Best place to people watch!
Lake View Cemetery
This is a weird one, but it's one of the Kershaw family's favorite places to walk. As a historic cemetery, Lake View is absolutely gorgeous and hosts President Garfield's and John D. Rockefeller's memorials. |P.S.| Check out the Wade Chapel. It's walls, floor, and ceiling are decked out with Tiffany Glass mosaic.
