Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 15, 2025 by using the QR code located on your Invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the ceremony to allow for seating and any last-minute adjustments.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, shuttle busses will be provided to the wedding! We’ve added a second shuttle pick-up/drop-off location for The Island House on Johns Island. Pick-Up & Drop-Off Locations (4:30 PM Departure): • Grand Bohemian Hotel (55 Wentworth St) • Charleston Marriott (170 Lockwood Dr) Shuttles return to these locations at 11:00 PM. Select Your Bus If you RSVP’d “Yes” for transportation, email bridgesmcgill@gmail.com with your pick-up choice: 1. Grand Bohemian Hotel 2. Charleston Marriott Seats are not guaranteed without a response. Important Notes: • Uber/Lyft are limited at the venue—shuttles are highly recommended. • Parking is available for designated drivers. • Need a seat but didn’t RSVP for transport? Let us know ASAP. Please share with other guests—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is it okay to take photos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we have hired a professional photographer. However, feel free to capture memories during the reception!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie We would love for you to join us in celebrating our special day by incorporating our wedding colors into your attire! We invite guests to wear neutrals (such as beige), soft blues, soft greens, pinks, or even lemon yellow. Patterns are also welcome! Our bridesmaids will be dressed in varying shades inspired by the Mediterranean, while our groomsmen will be in classic black. For the gentlemen, we kindly request black tie attire—tuxedos are the perfect choice to complement the evening’s elegance. What do I wear?! What can we expect from the Weather?

Answer

Although we can’t predict the exact weather, temperatures in Charleston in April are typically around 80 degrees during the day and 65 degrees at night.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Heck yeah! We will be offering select wine, beer, liquor and signature cocktails throughout the entire event.
