We’re getting married!

Our love story began over eight years ago when we met through mutual friends while attending separate high schools in North Carolina. From the start, we shared a beautiful friendship that gradually turned into a pure and extraordinary love. While many high school sweethearts eventually go their separate ways, we've been the exception. Our connection has only grown deeper and more meaningful over the years, defying all odds. We both ended up at the University of North Carolina Wilmington for college, where our shared love for life on the water brought us even closer. Whether we were surfing, wakeboarding, fishing, sitting on the beach with a corona, or just spending time with family and friends, those years have become some of our most cherished memories. Throughout college and our early 20s, we also had some incredible opportunities to travel, which has become an integral part of our relationship. We’ve created countless unforgettable memories, from visiting Sedona’s parents in Indonesia to exploring Germany during her Master’s program. Each adventure has made us more curious about life and excited to live in this big world with one another. One of our favorite trips was to London, where we had the unforgettable experience of watching Tottenham play in person—a moment that turned us into lifelong Spurs fans! However, our most special trip was to the Bahamas. Anthony whisked us away on a Jet Ski to a private island, where he proposed— this moment will forever be in our hearts. He had been planning it for years with family + friends, proving once again that he’s one of the most thoughtful and intentional partners. Along the way, we’ve experienced countless little joys in the everyday moments that make life meaningful. Morning coffee together, long walks with our dog Gus, tennis matches, cooking experiments, gym sessions, and even shopping trips have all become staples of our shared life. Gus, in particular, has added endless happiness to our days, being the first addition to our little family of two. He reminds us every day of unconditional love, responsibility, loyalty, and keeping things a little silly at times! Becoming part of each other’s families has been another beautiful chapter in our story. Sedona quickly felt welcomed into the Bridges family, with countless dinners, lively conversations, and finally learning what it was like to have sisters! Anthony, too, was accepted and loved by the McGills from day one – even as a 15-year-old! Sedona’s Mom even said, “We love him, I really hope she keeps him around!!” on our first big family trip to Indonesia when we were still teenagers! It’s been amazing to feel the overwhelming support from both our families in the beginning and still to this day. We knew early on that this relationship was special—something rare and meant to last. There wasn’t one specific moment when we realized we’d found “the one”; it was a series of small, meaningful moments over time, where we saw each other’s hearts and knew our connection was extraordinary. We always keep faith in each other even during difficult times, and push each other to be our best selves. As we prepare for our greatest adventure yet, we’re so excited to celebrate this chapter of our love story. Our journey together is only beginning and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.
