Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

There are direct flights from all major cities to the Phoenix airport, and it is the closest major airport to Sedona. If you plan to use a shuttle service versus renting a car, you must fly into Phoenix.

Shuttle from Phoenix Airport

One-way fare is $68 from the Phoenix Airport to our recommended hotel Sedona Rock Inn/Sky Rock Sedona (it has one name on the Groome website and another everywhere else- confusing, we know!). You can schedule a pick up time based on your flight itinerary. If you do not want to rent a car, this is your transportation option to/from Sedona and while you are there you can use local shuttles to sight see.

Rental Car

Phoenix Rental Car Services

If you would like to rent a car, you may pick it up directly at the Phoenix airport. This website will bring you to a hub where you can book through various companies! The drive to Sedona does require you to pass through Phoenix on major freeways, then takes you up north on smaller, state highways where there are some switchbacks and steep inclines. The drive is about 2 hours and 120 miles. However, renting a car gives you the most flexibility to check out Sedona and the surrounding areas (including Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon), the drive is beautiful as well!

Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This hotel is less than a 2 minute walk to our wedding venue. We highly encourage all guests who will be enjoying a cocktail (or two...or three... who knows!) to stay here for your convenience and safety! Additionally, if you do not plan on having a car with you, staying at this hotel allows you to minimize the need to use the local Sedona shuttles which have limited hours. All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit card, but are not charged until check-in. If availability allows, discounted rates are honored 3 days before and 3 days after the contracted nights. To extend or modify the reservation, please book the 2 contracted nights of 05-15 and 05-16 with the link and email Jared Lagemann at jaredlagemann@skyrocksedona.com specifying any additional days. Changes must be confirmed via email. Please put “James and Emma’s Wedding” in the email subject line of any requests. You can also extend at a later time, as long as they still have availability.

Travel Note

Sedona Shuttle

If you choose to have a car-free weekend and use the Groome Transportation service to get from the airport to Sedona, you can use the local Sedona Shuttle to get to trailheads and throughout downtown. Check out their website to see the areas they service! There are NO ubers/lyfts in Sedona and limited taxi services, please do not plan to use any of these options as your transportation.

Sedona has lots of accomodations at different price points, including many properties listed on VRBO. There are also many hotels, motels, and inns. We have a spreadsheet compiled of different hotels in the area and can email it to anyone who would like a copy! Please just reach out via text to Emma at (520) 249-0066.

Aiden by Best Western Sedona

This Best Western-affiliated hotel is approximately a 5-minute/2.5 mile drive from our venue. All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit card, but are not charged until check-in. You are able to use BW points by redeeming them on website. Additionally, you can sign up to be member and get lower rate by reserving via phone. A discount will be applied if you mention "Emma Conners/ Jimmy Landro wedding". One bonus perk- they offer free breakfast!
