Wedding Party

Joseph Paige

Best Man

Jameel was the very first friend I met when I moved to Cedar Hill. The first day I met him, he was playing basketball in his drive way in his full aau uniform, head band and all, dunking on the lowest level of his goal like he was Kobe. From getting chased by dogs as kids to competing on the track in high school; I never imagined that I would gain a best friend like him. I’m beyond grateful to be able call him my brother and be included in the best day of his life. My brutha forever!!!

Rishawna Smith

Maid of Honor

I’ve known Mar'Shae since freshman year in college. My most distinct memory of meeting her was when all of our friends met up to attend a Halloween costume party. From there, we became closer due to taking the same accounting classes and joining SWEAT dance team. I would describe Mar’Shae as being an amazing friend, who is very supportive, a God fearing woman, and a shoulder to lean on. I’m honored to be able to witness Jameel & Mar’Shae unite as one. I can recall our many conversations discussing what qualities we want in a man, and what we deserve and that’s true love. I’ve witnessed Jameel’s sincere expression of love for Marshae and I have faith that he will always treat my friend as the queen that she is. I’m so happy for the both of them and through it all remember to keep God first.

Chad Williams

Best Man

It’s a difficult task to break down the details of our brotherhood and speak on one of my best friends in only so many characters. I met Jameel in High School where we played football together. We instantly clicked and from there our friendship grew! We later became roommates while attending UNT in Denton and that’s where the once friendship became the bond of a brotherhood. We’ve been through the good and bad! From struggling to buy 89 cent packages of Ramen Noodles, to attending some of the biggest events that the City of Dallas has ever seen. Jameel is the definition of loyalty, optimism, and consideration. I am grateful and honored beyond words to be given the title of his best man. I love ya to life Kidd. I wish you and Mar’Shae nothing but love and happiness.

Queen Oyeniyi

Matron of Honor

I am so excited to be apart of this beautiful union! I have known Mar'Shae and Jameel for quite a long time. My most distinct memory of meeting Mar'Shae was in school at Beltline. We were both in band and on the step team so of course we became cool. She's always been super down to earth so we continued to be close. We actually did sooo much together growing up from both being on the tennis team (lol we thought we were Venus and Serena) to being on the Drill team in high school. I have the upmost level of respect for Mar'Shae for always being focused and getting what she wants; from Greek life, careers, degrees and now her soon to be husband. Jameel is a good man and I have faith that he will always treat my friend with nothing but love and admiration. Congratulations you two. MUUAAAH!

Man where have the years gone?! Seems like just the other day I was that 10 year old kid that moved to Cedar Hill from Oakcliff. I remember being the shy new kid at Beltline. Then I met Jameel and Joe on the playground. I was racing other kids, which caught their attention and before I knew it, we were racing. I won, of course, but that didn't last long. From then on we’ve remained close and I love Jameel like my brother. We have experienced so many things together in this lifetime. From grade school, football camps to countless sleepovers and Friday night lights. I want to wish you and your fiancé a happy marriage. Always keep God first. Communicate, listen and always express the love you have for each other. Love will conquer all the challenges you will face, but face them as one.

Bridesmaid

Mar’Shae and I go wayyy back like Lebron’s hairline! We met in 1st grade, and once we did a talent show together in 2nd grade we became family lol we really thought we were 3LW! We had so many similarities in our growing identities and family background it was like God brought us together! We grew up together, stayed connected through primary school, and became college roommates. She could not get rid of me if she tried! I’m so excited to open up a new credit card account for her wedding expenses, and be a part of her and Jameel’s big day! I wish them many blessings, but I’m not worried because I know God is all up and through their love. So excited for this journey, it is definitely going to be one to follow!

I had to have met Jameel when I was young (I’d assume around 4-5 years old). During our childhood we didn’t speak as much, but as we got older our relationship as brothers began to grow. We had a lot in common and shared a lot of interests all through our lives. He’s been a great example (So far lol). I’m happy to see Jameel get married and enjoy life. I am honestly looking forward to see him on this new journey. All he has to do now is learn Spanish he’ll be set! Love you bro!

I first meet Jameel during my first year at Young Junior High where I worked as an OCS teacher and he was a football coach/science teacher. Me and Jameel from day one were already very familiar of one another because teachers and students kept getting us confused for one another! But in all honesty, if someone were going to think I’m someone else, Jameel is an excellent choice! Toast to a beautiful forever my friend!

Amber Brown

Bridesmaid

I am so proud to have MarShae as a friend! Over the course of our 10 years of friendship I have witnessed her accomplish so much in life. From both of us running up to see our names posted on the list that we made the drill team, to getting accepted into college, to starting our careers, to her now marrying the man of her dreams. She is strong, goofy, dependable, intelligent a tad bit witty and going to make the perfect wife for Jameel. I wish these two an everlasting life time of love, and a baby boy so my son can have a best friend to grow up with! May god bless these two with a holy marriage, healthy lives, and prosperity in abundance.

I met Jameel in 2001 when I first moved to Cedar Hill, and our friendship has grown over the years. From grade school, to college, and now adulthood, he has always been a true friend and brother. I am honored to be apart of their wedding. I’ve watched him accomplish everything he has put his heart into. I have no doubt that he will be an exceptional partner to MarShae, if he continues to keep God first in his life. I wish you both an abundance of prosperity as you start a new chapter together. I love you brother. “What God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Asia Wright

Bridesmaid

I met Mar'Shae while working at Merit Energy. We went to lunch within a few weeks of me starting at the company and just naturally grew closer over time. We bonded over our love for Mexican food and playing fantasy football in the work league. Even though she was sad that I would be leaving Merit, she was so supportive of me going to law school. I'm extremely happy that we have remained good friends since I left. I know that she is excited to spend the rest of her life with Jameel. I wish the best for them both. Lots of love and well wishes to you both!

Jeffery “Scoop” Echols

Groomsman

Can’t remember how we actually “met” but me and Mel got cool when him and Chad were staying together in Denton. I’d drive out there on the weekends to party and watch football all day long and then went to turn up afterwards Lol. Jameel has always been a cool down to earth dude. I want to thank Jameel & Mar’Shae both for allowing me the opportunity to be apart of this celebration of their holy union. Wishing both of you a marriage filled with happiness and love.
