Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG)

This is the only international airport in Cartagena and is close to both the old and new city. All gates are located outside, and the airport itself is a pretty relaxed place to be. Please note, travelers cannot access gates until a few hours before their flight, so you may be stuck in the main terminal until your time if you arrive early.

Flying from the US

From New York City: -The only nonstop flight to Cartagena operates on JetBlue out of JFK once per day (Tue/Fri/Sun). From Atlanta: -Delta offers a nonstop flight to Cartagena, but it is very expensive! From Miami-Fort Lauderdale: -There are many options to get to Cartagena from Miami; we fly often connecting from New York and often choose Spirit since the flight is ~2 hours. -JetBlue also offers cheap options at this location. From Miami International: -Avianca also offers many flight options and could be a great option for folks willing to pay a bit more. -American Airlines also offers daily options at this location.

Selina is located in the Getsemani neighborhood of Cartagena and is centrally located to the Old City. We chose Selina because the aesthetic is a combination of modern touches and traditional construction. There are many hotel options in Getsemani and beyond, though, so feel free to explore the other neighborhoods! Localiza Rent a Car

We prefer to rent from Localiza, but there are other options at the Cartagena airport if you prefer (Budget, Alamo, National, etc.). You won't need a car while in Cartagena for the wedding, but the option is there if you're planning another getaway afterward. Getting there: Turn left out of the airport and cross the street for the office. Sometimes the agents step out of the office, but they'll be back! Localiza esta localizado al cruzar la calle en el costado izquierdo del aeropuerto.

Bus from Cartagena to the venue

We are traveling as a caravan to the wedding venue (~75 minutes outside Cartagena to the coast near Barranquilla). We will have two coaches to comfortably fit everyone on board. They'll both leave at 2:30pm, though, so don't be too late getting on board! More info will be available upon arrival. Nos vamos a transportar en caravana al sitio donde se realizara la ceremonia (se encuentra localizado a 1 hora y 15 minutos de Cartagena). Ofreceremos servicio de buses para que todos vayan muy comodos. Tendremos dos buses que saldran del hotel Selina a las 2:30pm en punto. Por favor no llegar tarde. Mas informacion sera dada durante el evento de bienvenida.
