Travel Note
To get your passport
1. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html When you get to the website, search passports, click the first link 'U.S. Passports' 2. Select the option “I’m applying as an adult” under get or replace passport 3. Follow the steps listed on the page. Note: The passport card IS NOT valid for travel or identification purposes outside of North America and the Caribbean. You will need a Passport Book. This will be 165$ 4. Once you are ready you will need to set an appointment to submit your application. It will be best to set this as soon as possible because they can sometimes be booked out far in advance. Current processing times for routine passports are 4-6 weeks. For an expedited process it can be 2-3 weeks, but you will have to pay more.
Flight
Flights to the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport
Please group together as much as possible so each car is not having long wait times to start driving to the Resort. It would probably be best to group with those around you and fly all at the same time. The rentals are 6 person vans. It takes an hour and a half to get from the airport to the resort, and check in time is at 2pm. Please arrive no earlier than that. If you are traveling within Europe prior to the wedding and are arriving in a different airport than the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport please let us know, and we can try to accommodate for you.
Rental Car

We will need 4 people to volunteer to drive the rental cars we provide from the airport. If you would like to volunteer please let us know. Things to note: - The vehicle you will be driving is a 6 person van. - You can drive in Italy as a tourist, as long as you have a valid US license. - Speed limits are in kilometers, not miles, and often slightly lower in Italy compared to the equivalent in the US. - You will be driving on the right side of the road. - Driving in the city is INSANE, and the country side is very close corners. - Call 112 or 118 for emergency help and medical attention if you’re in an accident.
