Guests are welcome to arrive at the castle anytime after 2:00 PM on June 12. Each guest or couple will have an assigned bed at the castle and a welcome package upon arrival. For details on transportation from the airport to the castle, please visit the “Travel & Transportation” tab. While we’re busy with rehearsal and final preparations on the 12th, you’re free to explore the area. Some great nearby options include: Civita di Bagnoregio — also known as “The Dying City,” a stunning and historic hill town Marmore Falls (Cascata delle Marmore) — one of the tallest man-made waterfalls in Europe and an incredible nature stop Both are perfect for a daytime adventure before we all come together for rehearsal dinner at 8pm
Rehearsal Dinner and Drinks
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

After exploring the area, we’ll all come together for drinks and dinner on Lake Piediluco at Ristorante Ara Marina. The restaurant is located near Marmore Falls, so if you’d like to visit the waterfall beforehand, it’s an easy stop to make before dinner. There is no dress code for the rehearsal dinner. Guests are welcome to join us, and food and drinks will be available for purchase individually.

Casual Breakfast
8:00 am - 12:00 pm
If you’d like breakfast, it will be available at La Maga da Daniela from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Coffee, cappuccinos, and espresso will be served, along with fruit and pastries, eggs, and a selection of meats and cheeses. Join whenever it fits your morning plans for a relaxed, easy start to the day.
Optional Outings

For guests who would like to explore outside the castle during the day before the ceremony, the optional tours below are available. 10:00 AM - Franoio Gaudenzi Olive Mill Tour & Tasting Standard tour: Free 35 minutes Complete tour: $29 1 hour 30 minutes 12:00 PM - Terra Di Rovo Wine Tasting & Vineyard Walk Vineyard walk, tasting, and light lunch: $56 3 hours 30 minutes Please Note: This tour requires advance reservation and payment. Only guests who reserved their spot in advance will be able to participate. PLEASE RETURN TO THE CASTLE BY 5:00 PM
The Wedding
7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Elegant suits and floor length gowns
Please arrive at the ceremony site by 6:45 PM. The ceremony will take place at sunset, just a short walk from the castle.
Pictures
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Since this is a smaller wedding we will be taking all sorts of pictures with everyone! The meetup location will be a short walk from the ceremony location.
Dinner
8:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Guests will begin arriving after photos and can find their seats as they come in. The bride and groom will make their grand entrance at 8:30 PM. The evening will include: Light appetizers First course: homemade pasta Second course: filet of pork with pan-fried field chicory and roasted potatoes Dessert: Millefoglie cake Local wines will be served, along with other spirits.
After Party
11:00 pm
We will begin the after party with the bouquet toss by the pool. The courtyard will be lit up with music and drinks where we can do our movin and groovin, but there will be no designated spot to hang-the whole castle will be the party! Local wines will be available, as well as liquor and beer.

Check Out
12:00 pm
Check-out is at 12:00 PM on June 14th. We’ll be driving the rental vehicles back to Rome, so if you need a ride into the city, you’re welcome to come with us in the vans. Important: Each car has a designated driver, and it’s very important that the same drivers who picked up the cars also drive them back to Rome for return. Please be sure to pack all of your belongings and be ready for your next destination—whether that’s a flight, train, hotel, or another adventure!
