Wedding Party

Meet our bridal and grooms parties. They will be helping us get this party started!!

Jessie Foster

Maid of Honor

Shan and I met the very first week of freshman year of college. I was homesick in the dorms and I could hear this random girl down the hallway talking about how she needed a dress for preference night of sorority recruitment week. I worked up the courage to grab my high school prom dress, walk down the hallway and offered Shannon my dress - and yes, she wore it, I have picture proof! As you can imagine, the rest is history and we've been inseparable since. We've been on so many adventures together: late night bites at Common Grounds, Friday afternoons listening to A Capella, wintery walks in Tahoe, horseback riding and sledding in Bend, hiking in the mountains of Idaho.

Trevor Lusk

Best Man

I met Sean in first period on our first day of 6th grade in Mr. Argebrites PE class. We hit it off right away, talking about Pink Floyd and ACDC. That December I had an accident that left me in a wheelchair for a few months. Sean, being Sean, thought it would be funny to push me for the mile runs. So for the next few months Sean pushed my wheelchair and we both got the same times on our miles. I think our fun may have affected Sean's grade a tiny bit, but that's one of our first memories I'll never forget.

Kelsea McDonough-Rossow

Bridesmaid & Sister

One day, many years ago, a bubbly blonde girl came bouncing into my families house, bags in hand and spent the summer living with us. Little did I know she would turn into one of my best friends and later, sister! Some things have changed in the last decade - her hair is darker, my hair is lighter, there's a beloved dog child/niece - but most things haven't. Shannon has always been one of the most supportive, loving and generous people I know and I told my brother that I get to keep her. Luckily for me, I have no doubt that she'll be around for the rest of Sean's, and my, life. We've had so many adventures across the country together. I've always felt fortunate to call my brother one of my best friends, and I'm happy that Shannon, Sean and I can be the weird little trio together.

Julian Jackson

Groomsman & Cousin

It is hard to say when I first met Sean because as family, he has always just been there. But some of my earliest memories consist of him as a plump, jolly baby that my entire family referred to as ‘King Tumtum’ and I remember instantly feeling drawn towards him. Although we grew up on opposite sides of the country, we have always shared a close bond. Whether it was one of the many times I visited San Jose growing up or during the years that I lived out West, Sean has always made a big impression on my life. Over the years, Sean has become not only a best friend but also a brother to me.

Cayla Raineri

Bridesmaid

Shannon and I met through mutual friends of Sean and Trevor, and realized immediately we have so many things in common! Our friendship has been so natural and grows stronger by the day. We always laugh until we are blue in the face! I’m so lucky to be friends with another over enthusiastic-excited-for-life-but-cries-as-easy-as-I-do, dog obsessed nature lover!

Trevor Raineri

Groomsman

Sean and I met in high school more than 10 years ago and we have been close friends ever since. Through thick and thin we've been there for each other for all life has thrown at us. I'm proud to stand by his side as he marries Shannon and I'm excited for the future they will share.

Nyssa Wickemeyer

Bridesmaid

Shannon and I have been friends for 14 years, since we worked together on a project for P.E. freshman year. Throughout high school, we relied on each other for homework help, after school snacks, country music blasting, planning school activities, and generally keeping each other sane, especially being around the rest of our crazy crew. Our friendship has withstood college in different states, Shannon and Sean’s various homes in Tahoe (that included a lovely visit), and even once I dyed Shannon’s hair in my bathtub on less than half an hour’s notice; the fact that we’re still friends after that shows that she really must love and trust me. Every tall girl needs a short friend.

Aaron Petty

Groomsman

Sean and I have been friends, coworkers at different companies, roommates, and at this point family. One time we took a business trip/adventure to Ennis, Montana back in 2014. Sean, Trevor Lusk, and I rode the 2,000 mile round trip in a regular cab F-350 with a trailer. If there was anything we didn't know about each other at the beginning of the trip, it was known by the end. Since then, we've had many more adventures, both safe and harrowing.

Caitlin Strong

Bridesmaid

I met Shannon at my first ever Live at Lakeview concert on the beach in Tahoe! We instantly clicked and it felt like we had been friends for years! From that point on we spend almost every day hanging out having barbecues, going to karaoke at Rojo’s, and going to lots of Live at Lakeview concerts! I am so lucky to get to have Shannon as a friend, and I can’t wait to get to watch her finally marry Sean!

Ryan Vermont

Groomsman

I have too many great memories with Sean and I can't pick just one. Sean has always been the group dad, the head grill master, and the fire stoker, who would do anything for his people. He's also full of jokes that will make you cringe. It's been a privilege.
