We'd love to celebrate with everyone, but to keep our guest list manageable, we are only able to accomodate those listed on your invitation.

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration - we appreciate you making arrangements in advance.

What should I wear to the Guyanese Reception?

Answer

Traditional Guyanese wedding wear include lehengas for women and kurtas for men. Amazon has readily available options if you search "lehenga" or "kurta". Cbazaar and Lashkaraa are additional online options. There is no color restriction - in fact, the more colorful, the better! If you prefer to wear a cocktail dress or suit that's okay too!

The bride and groom are kindly requesting black-tie attire, specifically the color black.

Answer

A few months before our wedding, we will mail out formal invitations. Once you receive yours, you can easily return to this website's RSVP tab to respond to each event.
