6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Attire: Summer casual
The "haldi" or dye rubbing ceremony for the bride and groom will start at 7:00pm. Heads up: the tumeric dye may stain your clothes and hands - so wear something you don't mind getting a bit dirty!
Sat, Aug 15, 2026, 6:00 pm - Sun, Aug 16, 2026, 1:00 am
Attire: "Desi" wear preferred; bright colorful cocktail / formal attire also welcome
The bride & groom have opted for an intimate Muslim ceremony at their home in the morning. They invite you to a celebratory reception to follow that evening. While they are excited to celebrate both their cultures and wedding traditions with all family & friends, they also understand two weddings within one month is a big ask - so please do not feel obligated to make both. For those who can join, get ready for a night of Guyanese food and music! And please, no gifts preferred for this event - just bring your appetites and dancing shoes! Please see the FAQs for "desi" attire suggestions.
7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Attire: Cocktail; dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks
We'll kick things off with a welcome party! Small bites & open bar / soft drinks provided.
Sat, Sep 5, 2026, 6:00 pm - Sun, Sep 6, 2026, 1:00 am
Attire: Black-Tie preferred - all black floor-length gowns or all black below-knee cocktail dresses; black suits or tuxes with black neckties or bow ties
The bride and groom kindly request all guests wear the color BLACK. Ceremony will be on grass, heel protectors provided.
