Here are some fun things to do around Silver Bay!

Silver Bay YMCA has a bunch of fun activities: morning yoga, tennis, pottery classes, swimming at Slim Point Beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, basketball, shuffle board, boat tours, bonfires, and more.

Enjoy Activities at Silver Bay YMCA

This cute little Main Street town is only a 10 minute drive south of Silver Bay YMCA. It's great spot for lunch or window shopping. They also have a winery (Adirondack Winery) and a brewery (Bolton Landing Brewing Company)

Explore the town of Bolton Landing

A boat ride is a great way to see the lake and the surroundings.

Take a ride on the historic Lake George Steamboat

If you're interested in renting your own motor boat, this is the place to go.

Rent a Motor Boat at the Marina

The beautiful rails-to-trails path runs between the town of Lake George and Glens Falls. It's a well-marked paved path, approximately 19 miles roundtrip.

Walk, Run, or Bike the Warren County Bike Trail

If you'd like to go for a hike, this is a beautiful park just 45 minutes west of Silver Bay. The park is home to one of the largest marble cave entrances in the U.S.

Hike around the Natural Stone Bridge & Caves Park

The Sagmore is a lovely resort and golf course. It's located about 20-30 minutes south of Silver Bay YMCA. $135 per person (18-holes with cart)

Ticonderoga golf course looks beautiful (though online reviews say there is some construction on the course). It is about 15 minutes north of Silver Bay YMCA. $55 per person (18 holes with cart)
