Question
When should I arrive?
Answer
We plan on spending the week in Telluride because we love it as a great vacation spot. The wedding events will begin on Thursday evening and we would love to share the rehearsal with every guest on Friday. We recommended coming in Thursday so you can enjoy hiking and Butcher and Baker on Friday with us. Telluride is a great 3 day weekend spot if you are able to make that happen!

Where should I stay?
Answer
Please check out various rental sites especially for a family or a group of friends. Hotels in the area an option too but you may find better success in renting a house or condo. You can stay in the Town of Telluride or Mountain Village. The Town of Telluride is where the events will take place but Mountain Village is accessible by the free gondola or is about a ten minute drive. We have some suggestions so please reach out if you would like.

What about the kids?
Answer
We love your kids but thought you might like a weekend off. To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special events adults only. We have one exception to the rule... Augie, Ollie and Winnie will be part of the ceremony because who doesn't love some cute ring bearers and flower girl?!? Thanks for understanding our request.

What’s the best way to get around town?
Answer
The town is extremely walkable. There is also a free shuttle called the goose that runs a loop route throughout town. Transportation to and from the wedding will be arranged. You will not be able to drive to the event as parking is limited. More details about specifics around wedding day transportation with come with the wedding invitation.

How should I prepare for the mountains?
Answer
Telluride is at 8,750 so it's important to prepare and pack accordingly. July in Telluride is warm but at night in the mountains it certainly cools down. Make sure to pack layers so that you can enjoy both the days and evenings. Before coming to Colorado, make sure to hydrate and drink plenty of water when you arrive! We also suggest Nuun or other sources of hydration. Don't forget to pack sunscreen. The sun is beautiful but powerful at elevation. We also suggest bringing plenty of lotion and chapstick.
