Make a reservation in advance! If you're more last minute, as long as you're flexible with your time and ideally show up in the off peak hours, you should be able to grab a table or seat at the bar. They're known for their char-grilled oysters as well as their fried chicken. Don't sleep on the Siam Salad either!
This is an incredibly small restaurant, but the sushi is out of this world! Aside from the nigiri, our other favorite is the duck fried rice.

traditional southern food right off of King Street. we went for brunch and loved it! they also have 'The Bar at Husk' next door that is first come first serve. the menu is a limited menu, but the apps, salads and burger are great!
There are three beaches near Charleston - Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms and Folly Beach (ranked in order by proximity). While Sullivan's is a local spot with not much commercial activity, there is street parking. As for IOP and Folly Beach, both have their own bars/restaurants and plenty of public parking.
