Havre de Grace is an adorable town on the water just minutes from the venue. Want to try a local cuisine? Check out a crab cake or crab pretzel at some of the local restaurants (Tidewater Grille, MacGregors, or La Cucina Italian Restaurant). Then, walk over to Goll's Bakery (mother-of-the bride's favorite) for something sweet.
Visit the Inner Harbor for some good eats, a beautiful walk along the promenade (you can even sit on the bench where Sean proposed!), the Science Center, and world renowned Aquarium. (I may have just made that one up!) "Oh say can you see..." Visit Ft. McHenry to learn the lyrics of the Star Spangled Banner and learn how American troops stopped a British Invasion in the War of 1812. https://www.nps.gov/fomc/index.htm Edgar Allen Poe If visiting Edgar Allen Poe's grave is on your bucket list (it's a real thing around here), then you've come to the right wedding! http://www.poeinbaltimore.org/
Welcome to Charm City! Baltimore is known for its charming neighborhoods and this is our favorite! Take a stroll along the harbor, visit unique shops, and a grab a bite to eat! Fells Point is very close to the Inner Harbor and we suggest to get there by way of the water taxi.
This quaint town is also our state's capital and offers many cute shops and restaurants (oh, and historical sites, too) along the picturesque harbor. Have lunch on the water and take a walking tour of the Naval Academy.
