Lisa and Sean's Wedding Take Two

Update as of 5/25/21 Due to the low positivity rate and high number of Marylanders vaccinated, the Governer has removed all indoor mask restrictions. Masks are no longer required indoors, but you are welcome to wear your mask at anytime during the ceremony and reception; we want you to be most comfortable. We have worked with our venue and vendors to ensure we are adhering to all CDC guidelines and State restrictions. There will be 120 guests and the venue, Swan Harbor Farm, is affiliated with Harford County Parks. It is considered an outdoor venue with an open sided tent for the reception and a beautiful home that guests can access to use the restroom or escape from the heat in the air conditioned sitting rooms. The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn. Should it rain, the ceremony and reception will take place under the tent and we will lower some of the sides of the tent to protect guests from the weather. You are welcome to wear your mask at any time throughout the evening, but it will not be mandatory. Also, we will have hand sanitizer in several locations for your convenience. The decision to attend our wedding during a pandemic should not be made lightly. If you have more questions that were not addressed above, please do not hesitate to contact us. We'd love for you to join us for our wedding, and if you ultimately decide not to attend, please know, we will miss you dearly and we absolutely understand and completely support your decision. We want nothing more than for all of our guest to feel comfortable to celebrate with us and all of our loved ones. If you are attending---try on your clothes to see if they still fit, break in your dancing shoes, and get ready to get out of the house! With much love, Sean and Lisa

How We Met

Online Dating Success Story

Match.com. Seriously... we met on Match! We'd heard stories that people actually met, fell in love, and lived happily ever after using Match, but based on our experiences, we figured this was corporate hogwash, and would never happen to us! But Lisa looked at Sean's profile one day, Sean saw and looked at Lisa's profile, Lisa saw and wrote Sean, he wrote back, and the rest is history!

How He Proposed

February 16th, 2019

Sean made some Valentine's plans for a date night in Baltimore. After spending time in the Aquarium, they walked along the harbour and Sean found a nice spot, they sat and he told Lisa he got her one more Valentine's gift, so he pulled a box out of his pocket and she opened it and it was... a puzzle! She started working on the puzzle, and figured out what it said about halfway through, but Sean wasn't going to ask until she finished the puzzle, but she was struggling because the last couple pieces weren't fitting (they were flipped over!) but at last it was complete, and Sean got down on one knee and repeated the words on the puzzle, "Will you marry me?", and she said "Abso-f....king-lutely". We finished our walk and had dinner in Little Italy, where we had our third date. We couldn't stop smiling, and she couldn't stop looking at the ring!
