Our story began in 2015, when we met on a ski trip to Colorado, where we bonded over cooking linguine and clams together as well as skiing the back bowls in Vail. From the start, we clicked over our shared love of skiing and great music. Our first dates were filled with fun and excitement—spending time learning to boulder at Gravity Vault, watching Game of Thrones, and cheering on the New York Rangers at Sean’s apartment. It didn’t take long before we started dating, and soon after, we were settling into our first apartment in Red Bank, NJ. Our next big step came when we adopted our first furbaby, Oakley, and quickly realized he deserved more than just our love—he needed his own house and backyard. In 2017, we bought our first home together in Keyport, NJ, and that’s when things really started to fall into place. Whether it was ice climbing, backpacking in the mountains, camping under the stars, or road-tripping across the country and sleeping in our rooftop tent, we’ve always enjoyed discovering new places together. Our love for skiing has taken us to some of the best mountains around and even an eight-month stay in the beautiful White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. We've made it a tradition to take yearly ski trips, always returning to our favorite spots, including Vail, where it all began. In one of those annual trips, on February 6, 2024, Sean proposed to Lex in the back bowls of Vail, getting down on one knee with his skis still on. It was the perfect moment in the perfect place, capturing the spirit of what made us fall in love. In addition to our outdoor pursuits, we also share a passion for football—specifically, the New York Giants. We've spent countless Sundays cheering them on at MetLife Stadium, and one of the highlights of our relationship is the day Lex successfully converted Sean from a Jets fan to a die-hard Giants fan. But perhaps the most electric part of our relationship is our shared love of music. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing Manchester Orchestra live. We’ve attended countless concerts, singing our hearts out and jumping around like no one else is there—just completely lost in the music and each other. It’s one of those rare connections that reminds us why we love doing life together—whether we’re belting out lyrics or just quietly enjoying a shared playlist, music has always been the soundtrack to our journey. Through all the adventures, big and small, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and a shared passion for adventure. We can't wait to grow and continue this journey together.
