Grace and Laura have been best friends as long as they can remember - literally, they met in preschool! Though their friendship started with playing lion king and climbing trees, it has matured over the years to experiencing first dates together, high school dances and now girls nights over a nice meal or margarita (when Grace isn’t pregnant of course!). They have stayed close the entirety of their almost three decade friendship despite their parents conspiring to keep them in different classes growing up, going to different high schools and living in different states. These two have overcome every life obstacle together, supporting each other through all the thicks and thins that life has thrown at them. Laura feels so incredibly lucky to have such a loving and long lasting friendship to cherish, which is exactly why she wants Grace standing up there with her for her big day.
Lea Carey
Maid of Honor
Lea and Laura became fast friends in high school when they both bonded over not enjoying acting in a drama project. From there they survived the trying turmoils that high school entails such as prom dances, a strict dress code and college applications. These two quickly became inseparable whether it was during school in their free lunch period or after whenever their parents would allow it. So, when their parents started dating and they became one big, happy family it was not a big step for these close friends to become sisters. Now, though their friendship started during high school, they have both grown together into adulthood and continue to stay close despite the ever busy schedule of life. Plus, family gatherings are that much more fun having one of your best friends always present! Laura can’t imagine celebrating this big day without Lea there beside her.
Carolyn Johns

Carolyn is Laura’s wonderful, generous older sister. She is a constant confident, role model and loving presence in her life. Although there was huge maturity gap growing up, as Carolyn is nearly 10 years older than Laura, Carolyn was ever patient of her often bratty younger sister. Despite this, as they got older (and Laura matured) they grew closer and closer. They’ve traveled abroad together, added degrees to their both their names, and experienced precious memories together as their family continues to grow. Now that they live in the same state again, Laura is immensely grateful for this bond they share as she constantly looks to her sister for advice, support and family fun.
Michelle Campion Johns

Michelle is Laura’s bonus sister, or sister in law in the technical term. Laura has been lucky enough to know Michelle most of her life as Michelle and her older brother have been together since she was a teenager. And although it is enough to see your older sibling happy with someone who truly compliments them, it is also equally amazing to feel a personal bond with someone when they join your family. Michelle has always been a considerate and strong example for Laura to look up to, and one day she dreams to host a party that Michelle would be proud of. For now, Laura is always grateful for every birthday, holiday and occasion (special or not) that they get to spend together.
Taylor Perkins
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Laura met in college then became roommates their junior year through mutual friends. This ended up being one of the most serendipitous matchings as it quickly became evident how compatible they truly were together. Whether it was whipping themselves into shape with insanity work outs, late night fast food runs during finals or never being able to stump Taylor on finish those lyrics to their favorite songs - they always had a blast together. And even though it has already been so many years since college graduation, these college roommates have stayed close through it all. Taylor’s amazing planning skills have made yearly reunion trips possible, which has allowed them to travel throughout the country together and stay caught up in each others lives despite the distance.
Sanaz Azemoon

Sanaz and Laura met when they started living together by chance their Junior year of college after Sanaz transferred to USD for school. And they thank their lucky stars for that matching because it’s not often that two people become so close when living together randomly. They spent many late nights together laughing about nothing, playing card games and getting adrenaline rushes from Mario Kart races. Sanaz is a genuine soul that Laura feels incredibly blessed to have in their life. Despite the many years apart, they have remained close and continue to value their friendship with regular roomie reunions. It’s not always easy to feel close to someone who lives so far away, but every time they are back together it feels as if no time has passed and they are just college roommates living their best lives hanging out.
