Hood River, OR is a beautiful town nestled along the Columbia River with Mount Hood looming behind. It is approximately an hour drive from Portland. So, if you are flying into PDX we highly suggest renting a car and driving to this picturesque place. Also, there is not Uber/lyft in the city itself so without a car you will have to rely on carpooling or taxi services.
