We will be providing transportation both TO and FROM the reception at Bartram's Garden. The total capacity of the busses is 61 passengers. If you are unable to get a bus, there will likely be capacity when it returns for the 2nd trip, or you are free to pay for an Uber or Lyft (Halloween, Eagles game, and Proximity to University may drive up prices). The bus is available for all guests. As far as travel to the church ceremony for guests staying in Rittenhouse, all the hotel blocks are within a 0.5 mile walk to St. Patrick’s. It is approximately a 15 min drive to Bartram's Garden where the reception will be. We are providing two busses (~41 passenger bus and ~20 passenger minibus) that will do a couple trips to Bartram’s for cocktail hour, and then a few trips at the end of the night back to the Hyatt Centric where the after party will be (or if you’re worn out from all the festivities and want to go to sleep!).
Parking is a mix of street parking, which can be difficult at times, and paid garages. There are a few timed, free spots available, but not good for long-term parking. We recommend you download two smartphone apps to help with parking. "ParkMobile" is the app used by the city for paying for street parking spots. "SpotHero" is a helpful app to locate and get cheaper rates on parking garages in the city. The hotels have garages that they work with via valet, but the price will be more expensive than parking yourself using the SpotHero app.
Yes! Valet parking is included at Bartram's Garden. Parking near the church is either street parking (metered/check signs, but pretty much most are free on Sundays!), or there are a few garages nearby. If you are driving to the ceremony please allow PLENTY of time to park and walk, just in case.
We know things could always change, but we want to be transparent about where things stand as of now so that everyone can plan and be able to know what to expect. As of March 2022, the city of Philadelphia is no longer implementing the vaccine or mask mandates (wooo *new normalcy?!*). Our reception venue will not be requiring anything, and it is technically considered an open air venue. With this being a large event with most people traveling from out of town, we do ask that you consider taking precautions the week or two before traveling and utilize at-home tests beforehand if at all possible. We would hate for anything to put a damper on the celebrations or impact our international honeymoon travels! :) Thank you for understanding. Should anything change, we will update you here!
We love kids! We also hope you understand that we would love for you to be able to take the night/weekend off and truly get to party with us! With the exception of our immediate family who will be in the ceremony, we are not going to have room to invite children. If there are any questions or confusions, feel free to reach out to us!
For the church ceremony, we are asking for our guests to be fully present with us during that sacred time and space and have your phones/cameras put away and silenced or powered off. We have incredible professional photographers and videographers and can’t wait to share ALL the footage from the ceremony after the big day. Feel free to take all the photos and videos you want throughout the day after the ceremony, though! We are hoping to have an easy method for our guests to share/upload your photos to a collective album.
