Semi-Formal We know sometimes these dress codes can be confusing so for clarity -- Semi-Formal is often described as suits and ties for the men and dresses or elegant pant suits for the women. Above is our color scheme if you would like to blend in with our look and feel. This is not required but is encouraged. Navy blues and earthy fall tones are great choices. Keep in mind that it will be October and temperatures could be cooler (especially in the evening). We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up and snazzy!
Our events for the wedding will be both indoor and outdoor. While much of Bluebird is paved, guests will have to walk at times on grass and in the field briefly. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended as they will likely sink into the ground.
We love your kiddos -- we really do! However, we can only accommodate children who are specifically named on your invitation. If you are unclear about who is invited please reach out to Jamie and/or Sean for clarification.
We will be allowing plus ones to specific individuals. When receiving your invitation please check for the number of guests in your party, which is listed by name or as "and Guest". If you are unclear about who is invited please reach out to Jamie and/or Sean for clarification.
We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.
No. We ask that everyone takes this into consideration and ensures that they are driving responsibly and safely to and from our wedding. Our venue has plenty of parking and the hotels listed on our accommodation page are just a short drive away.
Yes! There is plenty of parking and the venue staff and signage will assist you upon your arrival and exit.
Yes! There will be golf carts running to and from the parking areas to help anyone who may need assistance. In addition there is a elevator in the reception barn as an alternative to the stairs.
We will be providing a vegetarian option for dinner. That said, please let us know of any dietary restrictions that you are concerned about and we will do our best to accommodate.
We have not sent out our official invitations just yet. Once we do, you will be able to RSVP online here on our website or by mailing in the RSVP card we send with your invitation. Whatever is most convenient for you! Please RSVP by the RSVP date on your invite. This will help us more accurately plan for the correct amount of people.
