What is your wedding dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal We know sometimes these dress codes can be confusing so for clarity -- Semi-Formal is often described as suits and ties for the men and dresses or elegant pant suits for the women. Above is our color scheme if you would like to blend in with our look and feel. This is not required but is encouraged. Navy blues and earthy fall tones are great choices. Keep in mind that it will be October and temperatures could be cooler (especially in the evening). We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up and snazzy!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our events for the wedding will be both indoor and outdoor. While much of Bluebird is paved, guests will have to walk at times on grass and in the field briefly. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended as they will likely sink into the ground.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos -- we really do! However, we can only accommodate children who are specifically named on your invitation. If you are unclear about who is invited please reach out to Jamie and/or Sean for clarification.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We will be allowing plus ones to specific individuals. When receiving your invitation please check for the number of guests in your party, which is listed by name or as "and Guest". If you are unclear about who is invited please reach out to Jamie and/or Sean for clarification.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Will you be providing a shuttle to and from my hotel?

Answer

No. We ask that everyone takes this into consideration and ensures that they are driving responsibly and safely to and from our wedding. Our venue has plenty of parking and the hotels listed on our accommodation page are just a short drive away.

Is their parking at Bluebird Manor?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking and the venue staff and signage will assist you upon your arrival and exit.

Is Bluebird Manor handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! There will be golf carts running to and from the parking areas to help anyone who may need assistance. In addition there is a elevator in the reception barn as an alternative to the stairs.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will be providing a vegetarian option for dinner that is only available ahead of time upon request. If this is something you want, please reach out to Jamie so that we can ensure that is provided for you (phone number listed below). That said, please let us know of any other dietary restrictions that you are concerned about and we will do our best to accommodate.

Should I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

You can RSVP online here on our website by clicking the "RSVP" tab above and entering your name or by mailing in the RSVP card we sent with your invitation. Whatever is most convenient for you! Please RSVP by August 15th. This helps us accurately plan for the correct amount of people.
