To help keep the wedding intimate, we kindly ask that only the significant others specifically named on your invitation or save the date attend. If your significant other is unable to join, we’re unfortunately not able to accommodate substitutions or additional plus ones. We truly wish we could include everyone and greatly appreciate your understanding.
Your little ones are dear to us, but we've chosen to host an adults-only wedding to allow everyone to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. We understand that arranging childcare can be challenging, and we truly appreciate you making arrangements.
Our wedding dress code is formal—we’d love for everyone to be dressed to the nines. Men are encouraged to wear a suit with a dress shirt and tie, while women may opt for floor-length gowns or other elegant formal dresses. We kindly ask that guests avoid jeans, sandals, shorts, T-shirts, and short dresses.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions so our caterers can accommodate your needs. We’ll be serving a variety of appetizers and a set menu for dinner. While we’ve made efforts to accommodate common dietary preferences, everyone’s needs are unique—please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can best accommodate you!
While transportation to the wedding venue will not be provided, Lisbon offers convenient access to Ubers and other transportation options, making it easy to get to the event. The venue, depending on traffic, is about a 15–30 minute drive from central Lisbon.
We recommend booking flights as soon as they become available—typically about ten months in advance. To avoid higher prices closer to the wedding date, please try to book your flight no later than six months in advance. For accommodations, we suggest reserving your stay at least six months before the wedding. While Portugal offers plenty of lodging options, booking early will help ensure you have the best choices and a smooth experience.
Early September in Lisbon is generally warm, with daytime highs around 80°F and nighttime lows near 60°F. You can expect plenty of sunshine and little rain during this time. We recommend packing a mix of lightweight summer clothes along with some layers for cooler evenings.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the reception, including dinner and dancing, will take place indoors. We’re excited to offer a mix of both settings for the celebration!
We kindly ask that all phones be put away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present and to ensure our photographer can capture beautiful moments without distractions. Don’t worry - there will be plenty of time after the ceremony for photos on your phone!
Yes, all international travelers must have a valid passport to enter Portugal. If you already have a passport, please check its expiration date - U.S. Department of State guidelines recommend that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your planned return date.
The RSVP will be available on our website once the formal invitations are sent. After you receive your invitation, you’ll be able to RSVP online through the site.
