When should I book my hotel?

Answer

Honestly, ASAP! While, there are no shortage of hotels in the Williamsburg area, not all are of the same caliber. We would love for everyone to be able to have the best weekend ever and share this magical place with you and would hate for any of our guests to have to stay outside of town or at a hotel that we wouldn't stay at.

Is there a room block?

Answer

Yes we have set up a limited room block at The Woodlands hotel., however we also have the ability to have a courtesy rate for both the Williamsburg Lodge and the Griffin Hotel (see "Travel" tab for information on each). What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive 30 min early to ensure no interruptions to the ceremony. We will be serving pre-ceremony refreshments

What is the magic word for Spa Discounts?

Answer

The Williamsburg Inn Spa has offered a 10% discount on all of their services (including hair & makeup) for exclusively for our guests. To book please contact Jennifer Gibson at jgibson@cwf.org to book your services at that discounted rate. When using the discount, the Spa asks that you book in advance to ensure you are able to take advance of the discounted price!

What should I wear?

For the Welcome Party, what is "Garden Party Cocktail" attire?

Brooke made a board to help with some inspo! https://www.pinterest.com/bgarnett92/welcome-party-inspiration/ Though it is Cocktail attire we highly recommend wearing something longer as this event will be during the evening and the temperature will likely drop! And you can always ask Brooke for ideas! You know it's her thing!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Excellent question! October is a bit of a mixed bag for Virginia. The average temperature typically has a high in the mid 70s with lows in the 50s. So we suggest bring a jacket or a wrap for each event in case of cooler weather and maybe keep an eye on your weather apps while packing?

Can I bring my children?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

Can I bring my fur children?

As much as we would love that (seriously) , as per our venue, no animals will be allowed at the event.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is free parking for those staying at either the Lodge or the Inn for both events located to the right of the venue. For those not staying at the Loge or Inn, Williamsburg does have a cab service and Uber/Lift presence for those staying a bit further away from our venue. Additionally, there is a small hourly rate for the closest lot should you choose to drive.

Hi, Congratulations! You made it to the last question! Yes we are doing a low key after-party. We are going to relive the glory days at Will & Mary College bars Starting at Green Leaf Cafe and feeling it out from there.
