As you probably know we both love to travel and see the world - we wanted to share this love with our friends and family and spend more time than just one day together. That and we're hoping we have a slightly higher chance of sunshine. Finding a venue that could sleep almost everyone was the icing on the cake - what could be better than a sprawling Italian villa filled with the people who matter most to you! We know that it's a big ask for you all to make the trip, but we're sure that it will be well worth it.
£175 per person - this includes breakfast. Dinners will be provided as part of the wedding itinerary but please cater for yourselves for lunch either by heading out to discover the region or using the self-catering facilities in your room. Please refer to the travel section for full details.
We are block hiring the Villa for this period of time, so the price is fixed for 3 nights. Our hope is that you will make this trip a bit of a holiday, allowing you to take some time to relax with us in the Tuscan hills. Alternatively we would be happy to share details of accommodation nearby provided by the venue.
To confirm your attendance please RSVP through this website using your first and last name. To secure your place, please send a deposit of £100pp to our wedding account by 1st October 2019. The outstanding payment of £75pp to be paid by 1st March. We will share details of payment if you have confirmed you would like a room. To note, rooms will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, if we reach maximum capacity we have had some nearby accommodation recommended and would be happy to pass on the details.
All guests will be provided with a towel however Italian towels are traditionally fairly thin - if you like a fluffy beach towel for by the pool then we would advise bringing one with you! Not all rooms are equipped with irons and hairdryers - to be on the safe side bring along anything you can't live without.
Ponte a Bozzone is the nearest (very small!) town which is 2km away with a few small shops and a couple of restaurants should you want to grab a light lunch on Saturday before the wedding. Additionally there is a huge supermarket called Co-op on the outskirts of Siena beside the train station (less than 10 minute drive from the Villa) which should meet all of your needs.
Whenever you like! Please do use your time as your own, Saturday prior to the wedding is free time and there is no obligation to attend all of the events, except maybe our wedding...
All rooms in the villa have self-catering facilities, these vary depending on each room but are sufficient to make lunch etc. If you're really asking this because you like a specific type of rosé to be on tap then please bring whatever you like. We will be providing beer and wine on each of the evenings with a bar on our wedding night but anything outside of this please bring as you please!
With regards to wedding gifts, for us you making the trip out to Italy is genuinely more than we could ask and there is no gift list. For those still wanting to get us something, a small contribution towards our honeymoon would be gratefully received.
