We’re getting married!

So I’m sure some of you are wondering how Sean and I met, and no it was not grinder as he likes to joke. However, we did meet in a place where Sean describes as the one place that lacks single woman, a Firemen’s Ball. Normally, these events are filled with the girlfriends and wives of firefighters but little did Sean know he would be meeting his future wife at this event. I was attending this dinner dance to support my best friend’s brother who was being honored for his heroic actions. As I walked into the evening a tad bit tired from a Halloween Party the night before, my best friend Sinead saw Sean walking by and pointed him out stating,” I like that guy for you, he is cute and your type”. Sinead knows I can be somewhat particular with my taste. However, I was in total agreement with her. As the night progressed and through the intervention of some very important wing-women led by Sinead. (It certainly does take a village), Sean and I met and talked for hours about anything and everything. Later that evening he offered to drive me home and was a complete gentleman. (Thanks Brian & Nancy for all your hard work in raising one). It was from that night forward that Sean and I became inseparable and we both knew we were meant to be! Nevertheless, Sean further solidified our romance with an engagement proposal in Chicago this past September 2018. I wanted to surprise Sean with a fabulous birthday weekend away in Chicago. However, to my demise jk I mean surprise, in true Sean Fashion he had to do it better than me and “one up” me that same weekend with a proposal instead of celebrating wonderful him. He sure is a keeper! Sean and I look forward to spending our lives together and thank you all for your joy, love and happiness you continually surround us with.
